The house is very quiet..............I like it like that in the mornings. Hubby's gone to work.....the dogs fed and settled down for their morning nap.......Me coffee in hand have just finished reading my fave morning blogs, news, weather and emails......time to plot the day.
Monday the kids all came with their family for the BBQ. It rained all morning but nary a drop while everyone was here. My daughter and grand daughter had a field trip on Tuesday so youngest grand son spent the night........he's 4 and a helper. I wasn't sure I was up for the challenge, but my girl friend came and spent the day and the time past. After she left I sat outside for an hour as grand son wanted me to watch him ride all the toys we keep around here for them. Then he had to water all the deck flowers plus some dead ones from last year not yet discarded. He was convinced if he watered them they would grow. After this and still time before Papa came to take him home, I got him inside by showing him the shop-vac. He loves to help and the shop-vac is loud and fun.......and he sucked that dog hair and anything else he could find.............it was all good.......he and I were both happy. Papa came and took him home and finally I got to go lay down and straighten out. It was a busy two days. My body didn't like the clothes so much or all the sitting, so I did take some pain med.......but sometimes...you do what you do.
My grandchildren are growing so fast.......to me they are my life yard stick. My oldest is 8 and I'm 55......I might see her become and adult but if she has children............you know what Mean? So I enjoy them all.......for some day they will be busy like their parents....My Mother when she was alive......always called and wanted to see us.......wanted all her kids home for the Holidays........I never understood that need........until now.
