Deck gardening

My pepper plant that I grew in a pot on my deck was such a success. I've yet to harvest ...letting it continue to grow as I keep an eye on the weather. I will slice and freeze these and look forward to meals this winter including my peppers. Next year I will plant these again and some different varities. I mention before how I'm working on a deck garden as I'm not able to work a real garden due to my disability....so peppers and tomatoes did well for me. I found my vine plants didn't fair so well in pots. Cukes and squash produced little.
Still all in all I was pleased with my vegi/flower deck garden and am plotting next years ideas.
Yesterday I baked 4 loaves of banana bread. I didn't just toss the bad bananas. Now 3 loaves are in the freezer with my 2 loaves of apple/rubbard bread which will be enjoyed with the family come holiday time either with holiday meals or in goodie baskets.
I've 3 grown kids and none of them bake. My Mother baked all the time and out of her 5 kids I'm the only one who bakes and likes too. I think it's a dying art at least in my family.
