Time Flies

Our second annual family camping trip to the beach has come and gone.It was wonderful. Seven adults and 6 kids and 4 dogs. The time flew with not enough time to do everything. This park.....Fort Stevens is a beautiful park ,very kid friendly. A continuous flow of bike riding kids/adults and dogs on leashes past our camp sites. We had 3 camp sites with us in the middle and throughout the stay we were the main gathering/eating place. This was a special trip as our whole family is together. We spend time with our grown kids and watch them connect plus watch them as parents to their own. Life gets so busy and it's hard to corral everyone together. We do get together for all birthdays and holidays but as a Mother of grown .......flew the nest kids.......it's just not enough.......so the annual camping trips is my way of dealing with the missing.........we've had 2 now..I pray for many more.
