Snow started about Dec. 13.....finally mixing with rain Christmas night. Over a foot of snow. Rare for us...especially a white Christmas. Freezing rain also joined the snow festivities. The road that runs in front of our home/driveway...when plowed...just built a snow wall in front of us. Stan and Bruce off from work Sunday-Saturday. Annual Christmas Eve gathering saw just daughter and kids coming over.....Jake dropped them off but had to work. Andy and family came over Saturday night with MIL Georgia. We shared a meal and gifts. I baked molasses cookies and snicker-doodles and chocolate krinkles that we devoured during the snow festivities. I got a rice cooker which cooks great and a stand mixer with dough hooks I am eager to use. We kept our goal of not over spending. No debt from Christmas. I made pumpkin cheesecake as my family (EXCEPT ME) are not wild about pies with crust. They all loved it.....I missed the real deal. Waiting for the new year.
