Big is good.......Bigger is better

My hubby has always wanted a big screen TV. We did years ago..... a rent to own ......deal which was just one problem after another, so we ate our loss and let it go. Recently we've been eyeing the flat screens but none were up to snuff for someone who wanted BIG. Then my youngest son who is techie and a Hugh movie buff bought himself a ....projector.....which you can hook up DVD machines, VHS, Video play stations.......and the list goes on. He got his last year right before Christmas, came over, we hung up a Hugh painters' drop cloth and watched.....It's a Wonderful Life.....on this giant screen.......wow...unbelieveable.....just like being there. Son went on to buy a regular screen but he also .....lit the fire....in hubby. Hubby waited and watched and bought his own projector and screen and yesterday it arrived, we bought pizza and watched movies.......short of having no popcorn, it was just like being at the movies. I left him after the second movie and went to bed, he stayed for one more. He's called me twice already today asking......what do you want to watch tonight?.....My hubby is a card holding pack rat.......he has hundreds of movies..if he finds one for $.50 regardless if it's good......he buys....it's a family joke how he thinks every movie is a good one.....he watches a lot of movies alone. One picture shows the projector the other shows the screen. He says he is happy and doesn't need any bigger.........whew....... The only downer.......the projector bulb doesn't last forever and cost $250.00..but he figures he can watch five hour for a year before needing to replace........guess I shouldn't complain.....at least I know where he is.
