It was the day you dream of........been waiting for. Warm and sunny.....72....warm wind blowing enough to set the wind chimes singing. I must get a dozen more wind chimes. I don't have enough. I've several of them and some are different, so the sounds are different, but together.....such beautiful sounds. I line my deck and porch with wind chimes like others do with hanging plants. There is just something about wind chimes that touch my soul.
Of course all windows and doors flung open wide to air the house from winters' staleness. The furnace shut off....the bill soon to be decending. Not that we had a bad winter. We had a couple of days with snow which never stuck, but then we are not a snow city where I live. Snow is a novelty here, so when it occurs you ooooooh and awwwww and hope it sticks 'cause an inch shuts down everything, but it rarely does. Spring has been here awhile now but not as perfect as Saturday.
Hubby had the day off so he got to play with his toys........riding lawnmower........weed wacker........burning barrel........his little wood chipper. I ventured out to orginize some of my flower pots and low and behold pansies were in my largest pot. Hubby snuck them in..... I don't know when......he's sweet like that....when confronted he knew nothing, just pleased he got away with surprising me. He has surprised me many many times through this illness going on with me. His ideas on adapting, his skills at building things to accommedate, his encouragement, his love. One of my many gifts from God. I am fortunate to have this man. I think after 36 years he would say the same. Pansies hidden.....what more could I want.

I don't like wind chimes with a loud "clang clang clang" sound, but I have some pewter ones I got in Colorado that I love.
